Staying in a hotel won’t always be the cheapest option you can find if you need accommodation in Brisbane, but at least you can be guaranteed of a constant standard of quality when you get there. Most hotels that are 3 stars and up will be able to provide you with a minimum level of service that you can expect from them. You might not always get that from a cottage or a bed and breakfast for example, and as long as you are comfortable with the place you are staying then a least you can focus on the holiday itself and not have to worry about all your belongings or having a bad night’s sleep because of an uncomfortable bed for example.

You will also be centrally located and in close proximity to everything in and around the city. Brisbane has a well developed transport system and you can catch a train or a tram to just about anywhere you like, and if they can’t get you there, then a bus most definitely will. There are festivals and events happening all year round in the city and depending on when you get there, you can attend sports events, music festivals, movie festivals and fayres of all sorts. It’s really a great way to keep entertained over there and it is perfect for people of all ages. So even if you have small children coming with you on a nice family vacation, you won’t have to worry about them getting bored. You can take them to the planetarium and the koala sanctuary if you want, and if all else fails a nice day at the beach would do just fine.
